10/13/25 I had two doors and one window screen done. I went with the Crimsafe Standard doors, they had to be special ordered from Crimsafe they said it would take about 2 1/2 to 3 months to get them, they were right on time. I am glad that I went with Crimsafe even though there was a wait from Crimsafe, because they are USA made, and made right here is SoCal - in Santa Fe Springs. I could have gone with the Imports which would have saved time. The installer Pete was the nicest guy with a great sense of humor and a very skilled craftsman, he got the fit just right and closer just perfect. They delivered and installed the window screen and screens doors on time, and for the price that we agreed upon with no surprises. The front door was a little tough because it's an old house and the foundation has settled a bit. I would have no problem recommending Steve Floyd and his company, California Security Screens. The whole process of getting our security screen door, from estimate to install, was well communicated. As for the install itself, Luke was a meticulous tradesmen. He tweaked the install to make sure everything was perfectly fitted and aligned, then he cleaned up his work area and took away the door's shipping carton. We very happy with his finished work. Absolutely love, love, love my new security screen doors. Not only do I feel safe, my front door screen door and my French door sliding screen door both are made of high-quality material and they look beautiful. I'm getting compliments from all of my friends and family on how nice they look. Pete was my installer and he was super nice. We recently ordered a security door and it was installed last week. We couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. From the ordering process with Steven to the installation with Luke it was a 5 star job! The door looks amazing and we have had so many compliments but most importantly I feel so safe with the new screen door. Well worth the investment! Steve and his team were fantastic to work with. I purchased three Crimsafe Standard Reveal Fit Single Hinged Security doors for my property, and they provided excellent service throughout the process. I had a lot of questions and was initially hesitant due to the cost, but the reviews online and quality of the demo product I reviewed gave me enough reassurance to make the purchase. I had reached out to multiple vendors, but other companies had lengthy turnaround times in comparison to California Security Screens.I'm only giving 4 stars here because it was a little inconvenient that they did not offer any services to repair the stucco to conceal the area where the old security doors were sitting, so I had to hire an independent contractor to complete the rest of the work. Additionally, I wish there was more transparency on the full warranty details of the product when I had my measurement appointment, rather than later in the purchasing stages. I was initially communicated that the required care would be once every couple of months, but upon checking with the manufacture details it was weekly to bi-weekly.The Crimsafe products have a 10-year warranty from the date of installation, but you need to comply with the care guide. The whole process, start to finish, was professional, precise and pleasant. I had screens and doors installed. The windows on this old house are peculiar. The team did an excellent job of problem solving, cookie-cutter wasn't going to fly here, and kept doing it until everything met our standards, mine and theirs. These are elegant pieces of well tooled machinery. They feel solid, look understated, and I get a lot of compliments on them. CA security screens was so great to work with! Steve met with me and then my wife (on FaceTime) to go over what would be the right fit for our home. We weren’t pressured into anything as it took some time to get our HOA to approve before we moved forward with the order. It took about 6 weeks for the order to come in, but were called right away and the installer came out next day. Installation was seamless and wasn’t invasive. Steve then followed up with us to see how everything went.

The security screen door does not need a salesman. It presents its very own product identity. Installation and cleanup was super. Magical things happened with the various drills. I see no screws.Perfect measurements were taken by Steve. The install team drive up to your house in a van that is a complete office. The professional install leaves you with the knowledge " these guys really know what they are doing". I am not only happy with my screen door, I liked the professionalism of the team. Short answer: these are the best screen doors you can find. Whether you need a security door or just want a screen door that looks and works like a real door and not the typical flimsy ones you’ve always had before.I initially met Steve while researching a security door for a beach home that wouldn’t rust out in a few months. The harsh environment isn’t forgiving - the stainless steel and aluminum construction of these doors is outstanding and perfect for the application. The lifetime warranty doesn’t hurt either.I was so happy with the door. I had Steve install several at a different location away from the beach. It’s great that they are secure and can be locked while allowing airflow into the home. Mostly, however, I love the quality and how well they work, just like a real door and not the cheap ones which get tweaked within a few weeks.Whether you need it for security or you just want pay high-quality screen door, which will never be frustrating to operate and you won’t be constantly trying to push the screen back in the channel, California Security Screens is definitely the answer!

Highly recommend California security screens Inc. IMHO they are very professional company. When I called they explained the details of their screens and set an appointment and time within a reasonable timeframe. They followed up with a phone call and when he arrived early he waited patiently until I could finish my prior appointment online. Salesman was friendly and knowledgeable and walked my perimeter and explained the different quotes and styles for the door that I have and also in the backyard. I had the option to pay up front or also to split the payment and have a down payment if I wished. They also set my expectations as far as back ordering and how long it would take to install. The whole process was seamless and I love my new screen door. The aesthetic is beautiful. I can still see my gorgeous glass door underneath the screen door and I am so happy to have the breeze this summer. We had a great experience with California Security Screens. From the initial consultation to the final installation, everything went smoothly and was completed to our satisfaction. I highly recommend going to their store as an initial step, to see what's available and pick out a door that works best for your needs. We did, and that was quickly followed up by an on-site consultation from Steve, who took measurements and covered in detail what the process would entail. Steve was very thorough in making sure the door would work well for our house and meet our needs.It took several weeks to get the final door, although this is not surprising considering that these doors are custom made. The office was staff was patient with me calling periodically to check in on the status. Once the door arrived, their installer did a great job and had it completed in about an hour. You never know how these things are going to work out until you see the final product, but in this case I can definitely say this exceeded our expectations. And just in time too, considering the heat wave.In terms of price, it's understandably more than you'd pay for a standard screen door. But if you're looking for one that provides excellent security and still looks great, this is the company to contact. Probably one of the better upgrades we've done to our home. I've already gotten compliments and inquiries about it from friends.

These Security screens give you the security, but do not look as jail bars as many of the security screen doors that are out there. Looks like a normal screen door. When I called the company, the lady on the phone was very pleasant and informative The company was very responsive arrived on time showed me samples answered all of my questions and I signed the contract on the spot because I was so impressed by the product and the presentation. Had to wait a while for the manufacturing of the product as each is specific measurements. The installation crew arrived on time and were friendly, (Pete and his co-worker) and answered more of my questions, and installed all five of my doors. one after another all in one day. Very impressive. Everyone that has seen my security screen doors wants them for their own home

I have done extensive research throughout Southern California and highly recommend California Security Screens (CSS). I have talked with other companies who were really pushy, immediately asking for addresses, etc, without taking the time to know us. I found Steve's company and the 5 star google reviews remained true after working with him and his crew. We were able to go to his showroom to see the different types of products. Steve is very knowledgeable, professional, and humble. He answered any questions we had, at any time. His installation crew, Pete and Luke, are also professional, skilled, and helpful. We are EXTREMELY happy with the results and wished we had known about his company sooner. Im so glad we went with CSS and not the other companies!

We needed to have a security screen replaced. After a long search I found California Security Screens.Steve was our rep. He was friendly, informative and thorough. He showed us design photos. I was impressed by the wide variety of screen designs.. Honestly, it was tough to make a choice because of the choices available.Our screen came last week and I couldn't be happier. Our installer was the best ever. He arrived at the time scheduled, the installation was fast and thorough .He even installed the lockset on the inner door.. I recommend California Security Screens to anyone looking to buy or replace a security screen.
