Vista Security Window Screens and Majestec Security Screen Doors Installation in West Los Angeles

Protecting the home against break-ins and reducing the risk of windblown embers reaching the windows were priorities for the Kalmick family in West Los Angeles. California Security Screens, Inc. completed an extensive installation featuring Vista security window screens and Majestec security screen doors, adding protection while complementing the home’s appearance.

For the windows, we installed 21 Vista security window screens throughout the property. These screens provide an additional barrier at window openings while allowing fresh air and natural light into the home. As a result, the installation added protection while maintaining ventilation and outdoor visibility.

The door installation included four double sliding security screen door systems, one four-panel sliding security screen door system, and one French door system. All six systems were manufactured by Majestec and measured 94 inches tall. Together, these installations extended security coverage across several large openings while supporting convenient access throughout the home.

Because the security screen doors required additional fabrication time, we completed the project in two phases. The Vista security window screens were installed at the end of August. Our team then returned during the first week of October to install the Majestec security screen door systems.

Before installation, Cathy was hesitant about the security screens her husband, Jeff, wanted. Cathy expected to dislike the screens and worried about how they would affect the home’s appearance. However, the completed installation changed her mind. Cathy loved the finished result, describing the screens as beautiful and a welcome enhancement to the home.

This Vista security window screens and Majestec security screen doors installation in West Los Angeles combined extensive coverage with an attractive finish. With 21 window screens and six door systems installed, the Kalmick home gained an added layer of security while preserving everyday comfort and style.

Great experience from start to finish—from the initial inquiry and measurements through installation and handoff. The security screens look amazing and blend nicely with the exterior without the bulky look of traditional bars. The screens also have a certified emergency release mechanism that meets California requirements, which was important to us.Very happy with the quality and service, and glad to support a local business. We’ll definitely use them again for future projects!

Gorgeous, plush door. It doesn't look like a security door, it's an accent to my front door. Sturdy. Easy locking. Great installer-Pete.

Great and quick install for my new door. Thanks for timing as I requested before 4pm completion this week. Door looks great, looking forward to opening my door now and feeling safer. I appreciate you taking away my old door and short education on how it works.

We are really happy with our new screen. The ordering process was pretty easy - we visited their showroom to see the options and made our selection. They came to our house a couple days later to take measurements and place the order. We were quoted 8-10 weeks for the overseas custom manufacturing and shipping, and it was accurate. The installation was efficient and looks great. Definitely worth the investment - looks great and very secure.

I’m extremely happy with my Titan security screen door from California Security Screens. It feels incredibly solid and secure, while still looking clean and ascetically modern.I especially love being able to leave my front door open for fresh air while still feeling secure. The quality, fit, and installation are excellent, and it looks like it belongs with the house rather than being added on.It’s definitely an investment, but the quality and peace of mind make it well worth it. Highly recommend.

Now that CA Security Screens installed my Meshtech French Doors, I feel so much safer leaving the screen door open. High security and safety is not cheap, so don't skimp on your wellbeing and life. They fabrication time is the only downside, I wish it could've been done in much less time. Preciseness and exact measurements are what counts and in the end, the time waiting for the installation fades. I feel 100% safe that my new doors can prevent a break in or attempted house invasion. See their videos on the website if you have any doubts. Professional service all the way through.

I just had 3 door screens replaced by them and what an amazing transformation. Steve's squared were great to deal with and listened and respected my concerns. Rebecca was a delight to help schedule and both Luke and Pete were fantastic installers and not only took pride in the work and installation, but were gentle in their removal and replacement of all the old and new components. Steve was correct, wheh he said that I would be happy.and I am happy. The kind of all around customer service that you want but rarely get. Thank you everyone!

Drove a long way to give us an estimate and told us all about the security screen door and how it is installed. He listened to what I wanted in color and in size and was kind and educated me on what will happen when they install the door. When the gentlemen came back to install the screen door, he told me what he would be doing and showed me the tools he would be using, He also repaired the locks on my daughter's two screen doors and remembered to bring the locks to fix them. Very impressive work and it was clean as a whistle when he left. Our family in Palmdale will spread the word about how professional this company was. Thank you California Security Screens!

10/13/25 I had two doors and one window screen done. I went with the Crimsafe Standard doors, they had to be special ordered from Crimsafe they said it would take about 2 1/2 to 3 months to get them, they were right on time. I am glad that I went with Crimsafe even though there was a wait from Crimsafe, because they are USA made, and made right here is SoCal - in Santa Fe Springs. I could have gone with the Imports which would have saved time. The installer Pete was the nicest guy with a great sense of humor and a very skilled craftsman, he got the fit just right and closer just perfect. They delivered and installed the window screen and screens doors on time, and for the price that we agreed upon with no surprises. The front door was a little tough because it's an old house and the foundation has settled a bit. I would have no problem recommending Steve Floyd and his company, California Security Screens. Thanks for the great work, Sincerely Denis Kerechuk

Absolutely love, love, love my new security screen doors. Not only do I feel safe, my front door screen door and my French door sliding screen door both are made of high-quality material and they look beautiful. I'm getting compliments from all of my friends and family on how nice they look. Pete was my installer and he was super nice. The only bad thing I can say is that I had to wait two months for my order to come in. It was worth the wait. Great company, I highly recommend them to everyone.

This is my 3rd experience with CSS, and I am planning on getting a few more in the future. Cannot say enough good things about Steve and his team. Always knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and most importantly... always on time! These are qualities that are grossly missing these days in any service oriented profession. If you need security screen, definitely talk to CSS. Even if you don't end up going with them, you'll gain good knowledge.

We recently ordered a security door and it was installed last week. We couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. From the ordering process with Steven to the installation with Luke it was a 5 star job! Steve and his team were fantastic to work with. I purchased three Crimsafe Standard Reveal Fit Single Hinged Security doors for my property, and they provided excellent service throughout the process. I had a lot of questions and was initially hesitant due to the cost, but the reviews online and quality of the demo product I reviewed gave me enough reassurance to make the purchase. I had reached out to multiple vendors, but other companies had lengthy turnaround times in comparison to California Security Screens.I'm only giving 4 stars here because it was a little inconvenient that they did not offer any services to repair the stucco to conceal the area where the old security doors were sitting, so I had to hire an independent contractor to complete the rest of the work. Additionally, I wish there was more transparency on the full warranty details of the product when I had my measurement appointment, rather than later in the purchasing stages. I was initially communicated that the required care would be once every couple of months, but upon checking with the manufacture details it was weekly to bi-weekly.The Crimsafe products have a 10-year warranty from the date of installation, but you need to comply with the care guide. The care of the product and frequency required, depends on your environment and location.Wild Environment - More than 5 miles from beachfront or sheltered bay - Requires cleaning every 6 monthsModerate Environment - Within 0.5 miles to 5 miles of beachfront or sheltered bay - Requires cleaning event 2 to 3 monthsMarine Environment - Within 0.25 miles to 0.5 miles of beachfront or within 100 yards to 1/2 mile of sheltered bay - Every 2 to 4 weeksSevere Marine - Within 0.25 mile of beachfront or within 100 yards of sheltered bay - Every 1 to 2 weeks.Overall, I will still continue using this team for any future projects and will recommend to friends and family.

I recently had the pleasure of working with California Security Screens Company, and I’m confident to say that they exceeded all my expectations. As a local, family-owned business, they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers. From the first consultation to the final installation, every step of the process was handled with professionalism, expertise, and a level of customer service that is hard to find.My home was burglarized twice in 3 month and each time windows was broken, and costs over a thousand dollars to replace (new windows plus labor). I decided to invest in MeshTec French doors and a Crimsafe security screens, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Owner Steve took the time to explain the different options available, ensuring I chose the best solution for my home’s security and aesthetic needs. The MeshTec French doors are not only incredibly strong and durable, but they also look sleek and modern, blending seamlessly with my home’s design. The Crimsafe security screens provides an added layer of security without making my home feel closed off or unwelcoming. The mesh provides heat reduction, allowing for great airflow and visibility while keeping intruders and bugs out.Installation process was flawless. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left no mess behind. They paid close attention to detail, ensuring everything was installed perfectly and functioned smoothly. They take immense pride in their craftsmanship. What truly sets California Security Screens apart is their exceptional customer service. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. They answered all my questions with patience and knowledge, making me feel confident in my investment. It’s refreshing to work with a company that prioritizes customer satisfaction and delivers on its promises. I highly recommend California Security Screens Company for high-quality security screens backed by outstanding service.

Incredible service! We went over several options and they was very helpful throughout the process as it was our first time getting these type of screens. The whole process, start to finish, was professional, precise and pleasant. I had screens and doors installed. The windows on this old house are peculiar. The team did an excellent job of problem solving, cookie-cutter wasn't going to fly here, and kept doing it until everything met our standards, mine and theirs. These are elegant pieces of well tooled machinery. They feel solid, look understated, and I get a lot of compliments on them. If you are considering, if you can afford it (yeah, not cheap in any way, shape or form), rest assured you'll get a high quantity product and experience.

CA security screens was so great to work with! Steve met with me and then my wife (on FaceTime) to go over what would be the right fit for our home. We weren’t pressured into anything as it took some time to get our HOA to approve before we moved forward with the order. Steve then followed up with us to see how everything went.

I am writing a recommendation for California Security Screens Inc. Due to many robberies in my neighborhood where the access was through the sliding door, I called California Security Screens to protect my home. I was impressed by the workmanship of their security screen and the dual locking system. Not only is the screen beautiful, sturdy and has a choice of colors but the screen panel is custom made to attach to my existing sliding door. The price is worth the protection and peace of mind that I now have with. the new security screen. D. L. Monrovia

Short answer: these are the best screen doors you can find. Whether you need a security door or just want a screen door that looks and works like a real door and not the typical flimsy ones you’ve always had before.I initially met Steve while researching a security door for a beach home that wouldn’t rust out in a few months. The harsh environment isn’t forgiving - the stainless steel and aluminum construction of these doors is outstanding and perfect for the application. The lifetime warranty doesn’t hurt either.I was so happy with the door. I had Steve install several at a different location away from the beach. It’s great that they are secure and can be locked while allowing airflow into the home. Mostly, however, I love the quality and how well they work, just like a real door and not the cheap ones which get tweaked within a few weeks.Whether you need it for security or you just want pay high-quality screen door, which will never be frustrating to operate and you won’t be constantly trying to push the screen back in the channel, California Security Screens is definitely the answer!

Highly recommend California security screens Inc. IMHO they are very professional company. When I called they explained the details of their screens and set an appointment and time within a reasonable timeframe. They followed up with a phone call and when he arrived early he waited patiently until I could finish my prior appointment online. Salesman was friendly and knowledgeable and walked my perimeter and explained the different quotes and styles for the door that I have and also in the backyard. I had the option to pay up front or also to split the payment and have a down payment if I wished. They also set my expectations as far as back ordering and how long it would take to install. The whole process was seamless and I love my new screen door. The aesthetic is beautiful. I can still see my gorgeous glass door underneath the screen door and I am so happy to have the breeze this summer. If you're thinking about having a security door with a beautiful aesthetic, I would highly recommend giving them a phone call today. -Sara in Torrance,C.A.

My wife and I are extremely satisfied with our new security screen door from California Security Screens. It looks fantastic and provides security at the same time. I made a visit to the showroom to see the different doors/manufactures they had to choose from. Steve, Rebecca, and their daughter (a family owned business) were all very nice. They had all the brands I had been researching conveniently set up in their showroom. Rebecca walked me through the different brands and answered my questions regarding the products. Steve came out to our house with samples of their products to show my wife and me. We were so happy they were willing to go outside of their normal service area to accommodate our needs. Pete was our installer and he was very nice and did a fantastic install. I would highly recommend this company. Not only because they have quality products. But, because of their values, integrity, and willingness to go the extra mile for their customers. What a great family and a great business. Thank you guys!

Great service and customer support. Steve and Luke are both stand up and knowledgeable individuals. I mainly wanted a new door to let fresh air in and keep the bugs out. I have been able to limit how much I use the AC in the evening by allowing a cool breeze freshen up the house. Their pricing is fair and I would recommend them.

We had California Security Screens come and quote us a security screen door for the front of our home. So glad we did, one of the best upgrades we’ve made so far. They were fast, responsive and communicated thoroughly throughout the entire process. Installation was quick and well done. So happy with the results. You won’t be disappointed by giving them a call.

We had a great experience with California Security Screens. From the initial consultation to the final installation, everything went smoothly and was completed to our satisfaction. I highly recommend going to their store as an initial step, to see what's available and pick out a door that works best for your needs. We did, and that was quickly followed up by an on-site consultation from Steve, who took measurements and covered in detail what the process would entail. Steve was very thorough in making sure the door would work well for our house and meet our needs. It took several weeks to get the final door, although this is not surprising considering that these doors are custom made. The office was staff was patient with me calling periodically to check in on the status. Once the door arrived, their installer did a great job and had it completed in about an hour. You never know how these things are going to work out until you see the final product, but in this case I can definitely say this exceeded our expectations. And just in time too, considering the heat wave.In terms of price, it's understandably more than you'd pay for a standard screen door. But if you're looking for one that provides excellent security and still looks great, this is the company to contact. Probably one of the better upgrades we've done to our home. I've already gotten compliments and inquiries about it from friends.
